Marc Wins Aston Villa Jersey

Marc, aka Jester, has recently finished top of the Managers Table on our Kitty game. This means he gets to claim the football jersey of his choice. Marc opted for the Aston Villa third kit jersey, here's a little about this forum regular.

What is your favourite moment of the football team you support?: Beating Bristol in the playoff finals to get promoted to what is now the championship (pretty sad when this is your teams high point in the last 30 years)

Who's your favourite footballer?: Have to be Gerrard over Ronaldo anyday. Ronaldos got the flicks and skills, but hes a big girl who looks like crying and sulking when things go wrong. Gerrards everywhere, he never stops and moans, 100% end to end.

Which player would you most like your club to sign?: gerrard, but we couldnt afford his wages for 1 week, never mind a season

Do you have any funny/interesting stories about going to the match/following your team?: A few un-planned trips to casualty if thats funny

How long have you been playing SL?: about 3 years now.,

Do you have any funny/interesting stories about playing SundayLeague?: Oh yes, when you are looking for an internet cafe at 2am on your holidays as you have an important match in an hour with your wife and kid sat in the taxi, we've laughed all the way to the divorce courts about that one.

Who are your biggest rivals on SundayLeague?: I am lucky in that in my league all the other teams are very average, only mcmlxxx or whatever are any good, (sorry but i was away from school on the day we did latin)

Which manager in real life are you most like on SundayLeague?: Sir Alex, if i win its down to my own genius, if i lose its the ref, the pitch, the weather, bad luck and cheating. Plus i can be very miserable too.

What is your greatest achievement of SL?: this is the first time i have won it so it would have to be this

Hobbies: watching, playing football.

Stu Wins a Goody Bag!

What is your favourite moment of the football team you support?: Whenever they win a big competition..always feels good :) or when they beat a friend's team lol

Who's your favourite footballer?: Don't have one...(all the united players/legends) and a few from other clubs..

Which player would you most like your club to sign?: At the moment Fernando Torres

Do you have any funny/interesting stories about going to the match/following your team?: Probably in 2004 when I was at home ill after an operation and I got a package from Sir Alex Ferguson with a signed letter from him, a signed photo of Alan Smith and some Manchester United bits and bobs.

How long have you been playing SL?: About 1 year and 5 months

Do you have any funny/interesting stories about playing SundayLeague?: Got loads of people in my school into it and doing leagues with just people from my school and I won them both :)

Who are your biggest rivals on SundayLeague?: Everyone !

Which manager in real life are you most like on SundayLeague?: On man2 probably Sir Alex Ferguson but on Piggy I'd say I'm more like Liverpool or Everton...coz I'm ok but I'm not the best :)

What is your greatest achievement of SL?: Going undefeated for the whole season and winning my league (1-1-1), the Managers Table, Interconference Cup, The Elite Cup, and The Champions Shield.....

Hobbies: Going out with my mates, Football, anything really..

Steve Wins Team Shirt of Choice

On winning the Managers Table on Smokey Steve, aka Headchef, has won 5000 credits and the team shirt of his choice, he opted for the Arsenal away top. Here's some info on the man behind the team.

Occupation: Head Chef & Graphic Designer

Club(s) supported: Cardiff & Arsenal

What is your favourite moment of the football team you support?: With Arsenal there's too many to list but Theirry Henry goal against Man. Utd. when he lobbed Barthez from 25 yards was peachy, with Cardiff it was winning promotion to the Championship at The Millenium Stadium, you don't get better footballing days than that.

Who's your favourite footballer?: Past: John Charles - Present: Cesc Fabregas

Which player would you most like your club to sign?: Arsenal: Kaka - Cardiff: Any striker under 35 years old and has pace (bring back Earnshaw!).

How long have you been playing SL?: Ummm... about 6 maybe 7 years but it could be longer.

Do you have any funny/interesting stories about playing SundayLeague?: Beating Icky always makes me laugh and reading the whimsies of Chummy (AKA Momo) on the Charlie forum.

Who are your biggest rivals on SundayLeague?: I have no rivals i'm far too good (lmao), on Charlie the usual suspects are Icky, Stonehenge, DJ (ramsgate), The Scarlet Pimpernels (a true CML master), Dear Charlotte, and anyone in CML. On smokey i'm quite new to it (2nd season with The Stevens Co. and won Managers Table, Conference 8-1-1 & Champions Shield this season) so cannot give much as to the competition, but there a alot of managers worthy of a mention, but too many to remember.

Which manager in real life are you most like on SundayLeague?: Brian Clough, always pished out me head on match day!

What is your greatest achievement of SL?: With this team its got to be the fact of winning the MT & CS in only the 3rd full season with the team on what is probably the hardest server. On Charlie server it has to be winning 4 World Cups on the spin, in the days when Charlie was by far the harder server IMO.

Hobbies: A wife, 4 kids to support, you think i got time for hobbies!!!!!!!!!!!

SundayLeague is the best online football management game because: It has a great variety of individuals men & women who are passionate about football, and you get to tear strips of some of them when your team has had a good day i the forums.

Please add any other info that could be of interest here: Support your local team, grassroots football is the key to your local teams success, so have 10 kids (preferably boys) and that'll give your local club alot of support in future years.
